New NIPSCO Substation. Many of you undoubtedly received a notice from NIPSCO recently regarding the new electric substation which is scheduled to be built on the south side of E. 213th Street in Dyer later this month. There are concerns among Briar Cove residents, and you are all encouraged to attend the following meetings to voice your concerns:

Coyote Alert. A word of caution to all pet owners: a rather large coyote was spotted yesterday behind the houses on Ludington Lane. Please do not let your pets out without supervision (not allowed anyway) and exercise caution when walking your pets.

First Amendment to By-Laws. We needed 180, but we received 187 signed consents to amend our governing documents and change the terms of board members!! Thank you everyone for your cooperation and support. With the next mailing, each homeowner will receive a copy of the Amendment as it was filed with the Lake County Recorder.
