August Board Meeting
The August Board meeting will be August 19th, 6:30 p.m., at the Dyer Schererville Library. Make time on your busy schedule for this meeting. Councilman Tom Schmitt will be at this meeting to provide information on starting a NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH PROGRAM.

Schererville Police Department is investigating 16 thefts from vehicles in May. Please lock your vehicles and remove items of value.The Schererville Police Department is investigating 16 thefts from vehicles that occurred in May. Eleven of the vehicles were left unlocked and the remaining 5 were by forced entry, breaking a window or removing a door lock. The thefts are occurring throughout town and are occurring after 8pm and before 6am. Please do not leave GPS units, laptop computers, cellular phones, USC, tools or personal indentification in your vehicles. Please report all suspicious activity to the Schererville Police Department. Anyone with information concerning these thefts should contact Commander Calderaro at 219-322-5000.
