BRIAR COVE NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH
We have formed a Neighborhood Watch and are gathering names of residents who would like to join. We held an initial meeting with a small group to start off, which included Town Councilman, Tom Schmitt.
Joining the program is free. Members are not required to attend meetings. All we ask at this time is that members report suspicious persons, vehicles, or activity immediately to the Schererville Police Department.
Emergency 911
Dyer - Non-Emergency 865-1163
Schererville - Non-Emergency 322-5000
One of the benefits will be keeping each other informed. A bit of knowledge of what’s going on in our neighborhood will go a long way in helping keep it safe.
We are in need of Block Captains. Please let us know if you would be interested. Block Captains will have meetings (how many and other details to be determined) and will be in charge of a number of houses which they in turn would need to contact and or pass out information to on an as needed basis. We will be forming an email /calling tree.
If you are interested in joining our group, simply email Don Stopper at sbcstopman@yahoo.com or any board member.
